The TREC team knew U/D was the right spot for their next location thanks to the sense of community and diversity in the neighbourhood, and they can’t wait to meet their new patients.

A homegrown Alberta business, YYC Cycle has three spin studio locations in Calgary – and the third is right here in U/D! Whether you’re a spin pro or just starting out, you’ll feel ready to tackle the longest climbs and highest hills when spinning at YYC Cycle. While their doors are currently closed due to COVID restrictions, get ready to hit the bikes soon – stay up-to-date on studio operations on their Instagram @yyccycle.

Looking for a quick lunch or dinner and feeling lighter fare? The options are practically endless at Freshii, now open in U/D! From smoothies to snacks, wraps to bowls and soups to salads, there’s something for everyone and every time of day. The best part? In addition to delicious, healthy food, all packaging at Freshii is either biodegradable or easily recyclable – a win for you and the environment!

Nothing is better than hand-made food – and Five Guys takes this to heart! Started in 1986, the chain has always focused on fresh ground beef, the best potatoes for fries, and making it all by hand. It’s paid off – 1,500 locations around the world show just how great their burgers are! Get ready to crave an old-fashioned cheese burger this March.

We can’t get far without some caffeine! A Calgary-based company, Monogram’s doors are opening in mid-April in U/D, adding the fourth location to their roster. In addition to stopping in for a morning coffee, you can also buy bags of your favourite blend and sign up for a coffee subscription – never run out of that sweet, sweet caffeine!

First opening in Toronto over 10 years ago, Barburrito has grown across the country to over 100 locations with no signs of stopping! The tex-mex chain focuses on bowls and burritos that spice your day up, with a mix of traditional and new recipes. Get your taste buds ready for a trip!
With plenty of 2021 left, we’ll be announcing even more openings – including OEB in July, perfect for summer brunch plans, followed by OrangeTheory Fitness in September to kick-start your fall fitness goals. We’re also excited to welcome Cineplex to U/D this November, just in time to hide out when the snow starts to fall!
